Seeking speakers for Making Connections! Talk about what it’s like being in a STEM major, getting an internship, and/or what college life is like to a small group of low-income, first-generational 9th graders. Making Connections is an equity-focused program on serving first-generational and low-income students in the Puget Sound area. They provide college-readiness and career exploration opportunities. Gain public speaking skills (in a small and comfortable environment) and inspire low-income, first-generation high school students to pursue higher education. Food will be provided!
